No! Our classes are suitable for all abilities and ages.
Parents of our 9:00am preschool class are asked to stay and support their child during the lesson, involvement is minimal but you are asked to stay for the duration of the class.
Parents of our 9:50am Independent Preschool class are asked to watch from the balcony area.
For all classes after this parents are asked to simply drop off their child and come back to collect them at the end of the class.These parents are invited once a term to ‘viewing week’, where you can stay for the duration of the class to watch your child. This is often when we present the British Gymnastics awards they have been working towards that term.
Yes, we have ample on-site parking at Rotate Gymnastics.
If your child is attending a pre-school class, or a first taster session please dress your child in shorts/leggings and a t-shirt or a leotard. No jeans, hoodies, or zips. Long hair is to be tied back, any earrings removed. Please bring your child a water bottle.
Thereafter all gymnasts (except preschool gymnasts), are required to wear our Rotate Gymnastics Club leotard, made for our club by Milano. Matching shorts are optional. Please speak to Erin to be measured for uniform upon joining.
In addition to lesson fees we charge an annual fee of £30 a year, which is payable in September. This fee, most importantly, covers insurance for your child to train with us, and covers your child in the unlikely event of an accident. It also gives your child British Gymnastics membership which gives you access to offers and event information. All coaches are fully trained by British Gymnastics and we follow their scheme of work.
British Gymnastics rates will be reduced if you join after the March,as they are charged annually from Septemeber-September by BG.They are renewable every September, this is built in the Autumn term fees
