Rotate Gymnastics Code of Conduct

We expect participants and those accompanying them to adhere to the following rules

  • Outdoor shoes must not be worn or brought into the sports hall. Changing Rooms are available for Participants to get changed in before and after class.
  • Participants will be admitted to the hall only by a coach opening the door and signalling the start of the class. Parents are not permitted to enter the hall.
  • Participants should arrive on time. Participants arriving later than 15 minutes after the start of the session will not be admitted as they will have missed a significant section of the warm-up.
  • No jewellery may be worn. Please make sure all jewellery is removed before participants attend the session.
  • Long hair must be tied up. All hair (girls and boys) should be kept neatly away from the face. Please note high ponytails are not advisable – low ponytails, low bunches or plaits are preferable.
  • Appropriate clothing must be worn. No jeans or trousers with buttons /zips, skirts/dresses or hoodies. The club leotard must be worn by children who attend beginners’ class or above (not required for preschool classes.)
  • Parents should collect their child at the end of the session from the coach at the door of the hall (after participants for the next class have entered).
  • If children are independently walking home or out to the carpark, a letter must be provided by the parents stating such.
  • Participants should bring a bottle of water to every session.
  • Verrucas should be covered out of consideration to others.
